CPR Fundraising gets off to a ripping start ...
On Tuesday, 18th November about 30% of the QE Humanities College were trained for CPR - each person was timetabled for training with qualified Community First Responders or first aiders.
The CPR training day has raised £1300 so far (Thursday). More is coming in every day. THis means that we will comfortably raise enough to purchase one Community First Responder bag. Well done to all the students and their sponsors.
Hopefully, next Thursday will see Timmy Oliver (Year 9) having his legs waxed and David Kemp (Head of Music) having his chest waxed.
If you would like to send a donation, contact Sheila Halling at QEHC (01885 482230) and give her your details and the amount you are donating. She will then ensure that it is added to the college total.

different sort of honeypot in future – attracting local young people looking for
new skills and an insight into the world of work.
There should soon be a new buzz about the place as the former shop
becomes a hive of activity in its new role as a community focal point for
youngsters in and around the town.
The exciting new project has come to fruition thanks to Social Enterprise adviser Clare
Foster and Business Link in the West Midlands. They will mark their arrival with a one-off 'drop-in' event on
November 20 for people who want to know more about setting up a social
enterprise.

adults to play the roles in this ‘mini-feature’, based in and on
Bromyard.
The film has been devised
collaboratively by local Bromyard people and professionals from The Rural Media
Company. It is about the story of an imaginative young girl who has been
picked to play ‘the bride’ in the school’s re-enactment of a hop pickers wedding
just when her own family is in turmoil. The final film will be screened locally,
on-line and at various festivals including Borderlines Film Festival and the Hay
